The Blessing Ch. 05 Full of lies

I look up to the clear blue sky

So beautiful. 

I feel the wind blows through my skin

So nice.

I take a deep breath and start thinking

I want be a honest person in the world (at least to my surrounding)

But, the more i stated i want to be a honest person the more i can count the lies came out on my lips

So stupid.

I remember the quotes "do the right things than the easy one", and i want to be that one

But, i realize, i did more easier things rather than the right things

So disgusting.

So many things came out in one deep  breath.

Kill Me, Heal Me

Recently, i watch this new Korean drama. I really like the story. If im not wrong, it is inspired from "Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde", its about D.I.D. I've searched some information about D.I.D. Very interesting. I'm thinking "what will happen if i have D.I.D personality?" (weird right?)

PLOT
A traumatic childhood experience causes third-generation chaebol Cha Do-hyun to have memory lapses, and his personality fractures into seven different identities. He tries to regain control over his life and is treated secretly by Oh Ri-jin, a first-year Psychiatry resident, who eventually falls in love with one of his personalities

MAIN CHARACTERS

• Ji Sung as Cha Do-hyun

A wealthy businessman who suffers from dissociative identity disorder (D.I.D). Because of childhood trauma, he has six other identities: Shin Se-gi (a bad guy and playboy), Perry Park (40 years-old man and bomb expert), Ahn Yo-sub (suicidal, intelligent teenage boy and artist), Ahn Yo-na (an extrovert and sassy teen girl who has a love for idols), Nana (7 years-old girl who loves teddy bears), and Mysterious X (a mysterious guy).

• Hwang Jung-eum as Oh Ri-jin (Origin)

A first-year psychiatry resident who tries hard to maintain her seemingly perfect image to cover for her real personality. At first glance she looks elegant and genteel, but she is actually messy and short-tempered. Ri-jin secretly treats Do-hyun then falls in love with one of his personalities. Later it is revealed that she is not Ri-on's biological twin sister and have met with Do-hyun when they were young.

• Park Seo-joon as Oh Ri-on (Orion)

He is Ri-jin's twin brother. Ri-on often gets mistaken for a goofy simpleton, but he is actually a famous mystery novelist under the pseudonym Omega who investigates about Seung Jin Family. He hides the fact that Ri-jin is not his biological twin sister and is protective of her. He also secretly harbors feeling for her.

• Oh Min-seok as Cha Ki-joon

He is Do-hyun's confident and competent cousin who runs an entertainment company. Ki-joon and Do-hyun are rivals, with both competing to inherit their family's company.

• Kim Yoo-ri as Han Chae-yeon

She is Do-hyun's first love and Ki-joon's fiancé, a cold and prideful woman who may or may not have something to do with his disorder.

It's been a while..

How are you? I've been fine.

I don't want to live in the past again. I should step forward, right?

So, i decide to not brings up any pain from the past.

I used to pitied my self.

How are you? U know, i found a job. I don't know it suit me or not, but i'll try. I have a good feeling about my boss. He is kind (i think). But, i still not sure, am i suppose to be here (in this company)?
I'll start working next week, i hope i do well. This is my first step to reach my goal, "better future".

I write you this message is because honestly i don't know what to do. Beside working, what should i do next? I'm entering my new life phase. I'm more independent now. But, i still not sure what should i do? I even don't know my passion. Can you give me a clue?

I know that was so random. U surely confuse right now.

Hi all, its been a long time i didn't "touch" my blog. Lol.
The first post in 2015 is my favorite Korean Drama aired in 2014. This drama shows me how to say "okay" to falling in love or maybe about "pure" love...?

It's Okay, That's Love (Hangul: 괜찮아, 사랑이야; RR: Gwaenchanha, Sarangiya) is a 2014 South Korean television series starring Jo In-sung, Gong Hyo-jin, Sung Dong-il, Lee Kwang-soo and Do Kyung-soo. It aired on SBS from July 23 to September 11, 2014 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 for 16 episodes.

Plot

Jang Jae-yeol is a writer of bestselling mystery novels and a radio DJ. Playful and a bit arrogant, he also suffers from obsessive–compulsive disorder. Ji Hae-soo is a psychiatrist on her first year of fellowship. Driven and ambitious with her career yet compassionate towards her patients, Hae-soo has a negative attitude towards love and relationships in her personal life. Once Jae-yeol and Hae-soo meet, there is much contention between them caused by their strong personalities and refusal to give in to each other. But slowly their bickering turns into love and they begin to learn how compatible they are. Jae-yeol and Hae-soo attempt to heal each other's deep-seated wounds, but their fledgling relationship takes a blow when they learn that Jae-yeol's mental health issues are more serious than they initially suspected.

When noise from ongoing construction beside his house interrupts his writing, and he learns that Hae-soo is currently a tenant living in a building he owns in Hongdae, Jae-yeol temporarily moves in with her and her housemates because of his fascination with her. As the two fall in love, they must later come to grips with Jae-yeol's undiagnosed schizophrenia.

·         Gong Hyo-jin as Ji Hae-soo

A first-year fellow in the psychiatry department at a university hospital. A smart and compassionate doctor but not very affectionate, Hae-soo self-diagnoses herself as having insecurity/anxiety issues, a fear of commitment and sex phobia.

·         Sung Dong-il as Jo Dong-min

Hae-soo's senior colleague at the hospital, who also happens to be her first love. His wife and children are based in the United States, and he has an amicable relationship with his ex-wife and colleague, Young-jin. After he becomes the court-appointed psychiatrist to a convict, Jang Jae-beom, whom he later finds out is Jae-yeol's brother, Dong-min sets out to find the truth behind the crime.

·         Lee Kwang-soo as Park Soo-kwang

A cafe waiter with Tourette syndrome. Soo-kwang and Dong-min are Hae-soo's housemates, and Dong-min in particular is a good friend to Soo-kwang, often calming him down during his panic attacks. Soo-kwang is unlucky in love and keeps getting dumped by girls, but the one he can't quite get over is So-nyeo, who is not only a minor but who openly has several boyfriends at the same time.

·         Do Kyung-soo (D.O.) as Han Kang-woo

A high school student who's a big fan of Jae-yeol's and keeps bugging his idol to read the manuscripts he's writing, since Kang-woo aspires to become a famous author like him someday. He and his mother are frequently beaten by his alcoholic father. Kang-woo is later revealed to be Jae-yeol's younger self, a manifestation of his schizophrenic break due to trauma and guilt. Jae-yeol has been seeing Kang-woo for the past three years, ever since Jae-beom stabbed him.

Production

Screenwriter Noh Hee-kyung and director Kim Kyu-tae said that by realistically exploring characters from a romantic comedy standpoint, their drama also aimed to address the discrimination and social stigma attached to people with mental health issues and other minorities. This was Noh and Kim's fourth collaboration; actor Jo In-sung had previously worked with them on That Winter, The Wind Blows (2013), while actress Gong Hyo-jin had starred in Noh's Wonderful Days (2001).

The first read-through was held in April 2014 at an SBS studio in Ilsan, and filming began shortly after.

At 1:00 a.m. on June 19, 2014, the van Gong Hyo-jin was riding became involved in a three-vehicle rear-end collision with two trucks; she was on her way back to Seoul after filming in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province. This resulted in a left arm fracture, a knee injury, and scratches on Gong's face. After recuperating, she and costar Jo In-sung later left for a shoot in Okinawa, Japan where their characters go on a romantic trip. Gong's fractured arm was incorporated into the story.

 

Controversy

When the 30-second teaser trailer for the drama was released online on June 25, 2014, netizens pointed out that it had been plagiarized from the short film Olive Juice by New York-based video artist Celia Rowlson-Hall. On June 26, production company GT Entertainment admitted the charge and apologized through a press release, and the teaser trailer was deleted from the official website.
